Volunteer Coaching

Recreational coaches at ACSC are dedicated volunteers—many of them parents—who generously give their time to ensure kids can enjoy the beautiful game, make new friends, and gain valuable life experiences.

Volunteer coaches have access to our Assistant Director of Coaching, Bob Moullin, who is available to share insight into a practice, offer guidance on structuring effective sessions, and provide support for any coaching-related concerns. In addition, each volunteer coach is paired with a Mentor who will periodically lead practices and assist with coaching development.

To further support our coaches, ACSC hosts coaching courses and collaborates with other clubs to provide valuable training opportunities, ensuring volunteers have a strong foundation for success.

No prior experience is necessary to volunteer—just a passion for helping kids grow through soccer.

Ancient City Soccer Club and Coach Bob Moullin will offer a US Soccer Grassroots Licensure course prior to the Fall 2025 season.  Pre-registration details will be available shortly.

The deadline for Background Investigations, online training, and fingerprints is before the start of the 2025 fall season.
