Greetings Families and Friends,

Our two teams meet today with but one purpose in mind...having FUN!!!  We promise that this game will be unlike any other you’ve experienced thus far.  Who’s going to win?  WHO CARES!  We’re not keeping score and we ask that you do the same.  Below you’ll find a brief description of some of the ways in which this game will differ from the ordinary.  Please take a look, go with the flow, and enjoy the kids as the kids enjoy the game.

Quarter 1: Street Soccer
This is all about strutting your stuff out there on the field.  There are no fixed positions (except the goalie) and a meg is worth more than a goal!

Quarter 2: Freaky Friday
Just like in the movie, an adult switches places with their kid.  This is an opportunity for the family to get together out on the field.  You don’t have to be a pro, just willing to have some fun!

Quarter 3: Left Foot & the Three-Legged Goalie
All shots during this quarter must be with the left foot...no excuses!  We also will have two goalies on each team, but they’ll be tied together as in a three-legged race!

Quarter 4: Water Balloon Substitutions
It’s going to be hot and a nice soaking from a water balloon is just what the doctor ordered.  When kids sub in/out, it’s going to get a tad damp out there.

Post Game: Shootout & Water Balloon Melee
What’s more exciting than a shoutout?  Who cares if it has nothing to do with the score...we’re not keeping score!  Then we MUST use up all of those extra water balloons...it’s a moral imperative.
